There are several reasons why your machine could be making a noise. Take a look through this list, and if you are still unsure, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Soft continuous soundThis is the machine chilling (the fan)

Loud noise when pouring beerThis is the machine maintaining pressure

Loud noise when not pouring beer, periodically

This is the machine maintaining pressure. However if this noise is heard frequently, there's likely an issue with the keg or machine. (Sounds like a coffee machine grinding)

If your machine sounds like its struggling to pressurise your keg, you may need to change your tube or wet the black rubber seal on the tap unit before attaching it to the keg.

If you notice this sound, please contact Customer Services.

Hissing sound
Make sure the tap unit is pushed down fully onto the keg. It must click twice. If not, you will hear the sound of air escaping. If air is still escaping and the tap unit is fully attached, contact Customer Services.

High pitched whine
Occasionally we see a rare issue where machines are found to be making a high pitched whine noise, similar to a mosquito repellent device. This noise is related to the power supply but is characteristic of some units. If this noise is an issue, please contact Customer Services.
